For just a few hours each week, volunteers
can grocery shop for the homebound, visit
with seniors, monitor daily safety net
phone calls, help with mail or bill paying,
escort a senior needing assistance to
their doctor or other important appointments,
walk or care for the pets of seniors recovering
from an injury or hospitalization or provide
occasional handyman, moving or gardening
assistance. Other volunteers provide important
reception, clerical and computer support
to office staff. See a complete and detailed
list of all Volunteer
Opportunities.
Getting started is easy! Read over the
Volunteer
Eligibility Requirements then download
the Volunteer
Application and mail or fax in. Once
the application is received it will be
reviewed and you will be contacted to
set up a personal interview appointment.
ElderHelp volunteers are very special,
caring persons respected by their peers,
the staff and the community.
Won’t you join the ElderHelp team
to help keep our elders safe, healthy
and happy? You can make a significant
difference in a senior’s life.
For any questions regarding Volunteering
your time, please contact Diana Champion
