ElderHelp of San Diego serves seniors who are homebound, frail and often alone. Through our various programs we provide our clients with grocery shopping services, friendly visitors, home repair services, gardening, care management, access to resources, tax preparation assistance, legal assistance and health insurance counseling. Over 350 volunteers provide these valuable services to over 5,000 San Diego seniors every year.

To show our appreciation and recognize the invaluable service ElderHelp volunteers provide, an annual awards luncheon is held every fall. It is the one time each year the volunteers are all together and openly appreciated. Over 200 people attend and enjoy the complimentary appreciation luncheon. Each volunteer also receives a gift as a token of ElderHelp’s gratitude.

The Annual Volunteer Recognition luncheon is a small way for ElderHelp and the community to express their appreciation to volunteers for their unselfish work and service to the seniors of San Diego.
