ElderHelp is embarking on our
Campaign of Hope. This new initiative
seeks to increase ElderHelp
Endowment funds from $250,000
currently to 1,000,000 by the
end of 2008. This effort will
assure that our programs and
services will always be available
to seniors who need a helping
hand to stay in their homes.
A solid endowment is vital to
the long term sustainability
of ElderHelp. Endowments consist
of present or future bequests
of cash or real estate with
the stipulation that it be invested
while the principal remain intact.
An Endowment gift could be the
most farsighted and enduring
act of your lifetime. The gift
provides funds for current use
by ElderHelp each year, forever.
The interest alone from a 1
million dollar endowment will
allow us to keep 1500 seniors
living safely in their homes.
Helping us kick off this
challenge are Judy and Yale
Combs who have committed to
match all endowment gifts
dollar for dollar up to $5000
by the end December 2005.
We encourage you to take
advantage of this special
opportunity to honor a special
senior in your life through
an extra gift to ElderHelp’s
Endowment fund. If you should
have any questions or would
like to explore how to give
today or in the future to
our Endowment fund please
call Leane Marchese, ElderHelp
Executive Director at 619-284-9281
x11.
