Meet Volunteer Brian
WE LOVE OUR VOLUNTEERS!
When it comes to home modifications and repairs, Brian is always ready to lend a hand. For the last 10 years, Brian has installed countless grab bars, adjusted screen doors, built doggie ramps and helped hundreds of seniors live safely in their homes.
Brian’s wife, Hillary, is also an ElderHelp volunteer, and it was her enthusiasm for helping seniors that encouraged Brian to find his niche on the Home & Garden team.
His proudest moment was teaming up with another volunteer to build and install a 20 foot handrail for a member in Old Town. It took 16 hours, but once it was finished he knew the member was less likely to fall. “I can just picture her holding on to that railing as she steadily walks down the stairs. It makes me feel good that I played a part in keeping her safe.”
To join Brian and our team of volunteers, join us on January 25th at 5:30 pm for a Volunteer Orientation!
